A personal touch
Sally has been an art lover her entire life and has studied it as a subject since she left school in 2005.
It has always been a passion and necessity for her to be creative – Art has played a primary role in her life since childhood; her most recent achievements in art were gaining a First Class BA (Hons.) in Contemporary Art and graduating with a Masters of Fine Art (M.A.) from the Manchester’s School of Art.View website
Sally came to us as she needed a portfolio website up and running quickly to show off her work in time for the Sky Arts portrait artist of the year 2017, which was due to be aired in early February 2017.
In 2014, Sally had been chosen out of nearly two thousand applicants to compete against another seventy one artists from around the country to battle it out to become Sky Arts portrait artist of the year 2014. She made it through the semi-finals and then into the finals to eventually become the runner up, very narrowly missing out on the number one spot. She has since applied for the 2017 series, and she needed the website ready for when the new series was due to be aired on Sky Arts.
Sally was amazed at how quickly we put together her new portfolio website and at how good it looked. We got it up and running just in time for the Sky Arts portrait artist of the year series to be shown on TV. It was perfect for her and showcases her work brilliantly.
It works flawlessly across all platforms; mobile, tablet and desktop. We’ve created a gorgeous looking theme, with plenty of white-space and a minimalistic feel that allows more focus on her stunning work. Hopefully this time she will get the Sky Arts portrait artist of the year crown. Good luck Sally!
